June 10, 2011 at 2:44 AMif we look at the structure of the chaoyang characters they are both verticle left and verticle right...which would give us 11:11pm...making them 19minutes late.

June 10, 2011 at 2:24 AMwell if it's just the hour and we take the 5 in wu and the 18 we get out of mu =23....2300 hours is 11pm..traditionally the start of the new day in Chinese tradition...so they're already 1/2 hour late for the bust

June 10, 2011 at 12:26 AMI doubt this, but could it be the unicode numbers for the characters that give us the time?
eg chaoyang...chao is 6710 and yang is 9633

June 10, 2011 at 12:15 AMbtw I just love the sound effects in this series, perhaps especially the ominous donging of the bell at the end of the dialogue...so so good.

June 9, 2011 at 11:47 PMI don't know about the rest of you guys, but there are so many directions we can take this that I think it's time we had a little guidance as to if we're on the right track with any of this in regards to the time.
