以为 yǐwéi means it supposed to be like this or that, after that you need to talk about something that supposed to be like you think about it

以为天气很好，所以没带雨伞。

yǐwéi tiānqì hěn hǎo, suǒyǐ méi dài yǔsǎn

I thought the weather was nice, so I didn’t bring an umbrella. ( The weather it supposed to be nice, so i didn't bring umbrella. )

yes you can say it and the difference is the first one when you use 爱 means i love watch TV or i love Cat, the second one you use 喜欢 means i like TV or I like Cat.

討厭 means annoyed or when you use instead of 不喜歡 your meaning is this thing is annoying, 不喜歡 you just say i dont like its more polite.

愛 means to love or love using instead of 喜歡, both of them means you like but literally 愛 means i love to do or this or that when you use instead of 喜歡.
