For me, I'll say 你家现在有几个人, when asking how many people do you have at home. But you're right, 你家有几口人 is a better way of asking how many family members you have at home.

Yes, you're right. Here's another example, frown

Plus, it sounds more formal when using 表示 and often commonly used in news.

We often use the word 表示 or 称 in news, when authorities are claiming some statements.

Yes, you're right! These two words are really similar, but they are not replaceable. This is a really good example!!

红色代表爱 means that red represents love, so the word 代表 means represent or stand for. The word 表示 means to signify, indicate, or express.

Hope this helps!!

The first sentence is 我要开车去机场了, and the second is 我在开车去机场呢.

Yes, you're right!

Posted on: How to use “所”──”所”的用法

Nice guess, the 所 in the sentence 安同杀了我爱的人 is emphasizing the person Antong killed is the exact same person that I love, The 所 is often used as emphasizing the exact same thing between two things that we're comparing. Take the first sentence as an example, 刚刚我说的话 and 真话, these two things that I mentioned are exactly the same; therefore, I can say 刚刚我说的话都是真话.

Let's see the second sentence, We won't add 所 in this sentence. 我吃的饼干 is the cookies, the snacks itself, whereas 弟弟爱吃的饼干 is a specific type of cookies that my brother loves. Therefore, we won't add 所 in this sentence since two things we mentioned are not the exact same things.

What do you think about the third sentence? Can we add 所 in it?

Yes, you're right, we definitely should use these terms carefully in real life. I often would stay away from the cars that have the 新手上路 signcool
