Somehow this lesson made me remember visiting my girlfriend´s parent´s last month...
Anyway, interesting material

I mean with "done", studying every dialogue line, every character, doing the exercises with a score above 80% and get all the characters learned in skritter as well (at least reading, sometimes with writing turned off).
Often split in two or three sittings, in different days... Often I learn two or three lessons simultaneous and switch from one to the other randomly, or do something else unrelated in between as small breaks.

My genes might be iluding my thoughts, but I believe that got the car because I was fed up with trains and buses, specially for outdoor activities or carrying stuff, and was actually spending too much renting cars when I needed. A fast car in Germany is nice too, since highways have no speed limit, anything up to 200 horse power can be justified in a pragmatic way :-)

Dude, I get done with an upper-intermidiate in less than 2 hours, if it takes you so long you might want to do intermediate for a while longer, but don´t worry, it will come the time you understand most in the first listen and only a few of characters are new and rather the combinations of characters to form words are new :-)

Coincidence of not, I have more girls stalking me now that I´m 35 with a BMW then I was 25 and used trains and buses and also have more hair and a few kilos less. Go figure...
Some evolutionary psychology explains these and other interesting phenomena pretty well, from a scientific point of view without all kinds of sexist biases.

Hey bababardan, yeah, I meant the Olympians are having all the fun and glory while the rest of common mortals just sit in front of some magic boxes to watch it. It´s always been like that since Zeus created the universe around Greece ;-) Ask me, rather spend the time learning chinese or doing something myself... except if it´s the occasional peak at a Jessica Ennis video or so :D
"it was about some Russians"

All I can say is that those guys in ancient China spent too long looking at hills while thinking of women.
