Thanks, AZERDocMom. My lower elle Chinese was just enough to get me through everything without too much stress. Of course, with a cut you can just show it to people and they point you in the right direction. Do you know a way of adding the vocab you gave to your Cpod vocab list?

This lesson was actually really useful. I had to go to a Shanghai ER to get stitches, and because of this lesson I knew what the nurse was saying when she told me she had to give me a shot in my 屁股. Of course, I still have no idea what was in the injection she gave me or why getting stitches required such an injection, but at least I knew where the needle had to go. :)

You can get wikipedia in Shanghai if you go through a proxy server. fastsec.com has been working for me. So far.

I agree with everyone's great comments this time. Big props to Cpod for all your good work bringing us a great resource! An E/I bridge would be very, very helpful (feel free to add "very"s if it helps get the point across). Please bring back the old lesson numbering! And I too learned a lot from the Saturday Show and would strongly prefer getting it via podcast.

Is there a rule of thumb for when to use "hui," "neng," and "ke yi" for the English "can"? BTW, does anyone recommend a way to type characters in message? Thanks.
