Tagging onto Jenkeli's good question, I'm confused how I would describe books that are in Chinese from Chinese language books.

I bought a couple dvd's at a stand in a Zhuhai boat terminal. The guy had hundreds, easily. I was really surprised that it sat prominently in the middle of a public transport hub.

As Eileenblue pointed out 'Sometimes 是 is not necessary' in the question, but I'm fairly sure that it is needed in the answer, particularly if the subject is included. (wo de dianhua hao ma shi 88 888 8888).

Jenny- In US, we would say 'law' rather than 'rule' for such a transgression, but I suspect that is not an English standard. Which does bring the question of the usage difference between 规则 and 规定 (guize and guiding)? I'm also interested in Mchan's question.
