welcome back Changye. Hope your trip was refreshing. Thanks for the comment. I didnt realize this was an issue. Perhaps better rental contracts are needed.

Sebire has convinced me that dark tea may at times properly accept a little milk :-) - but I still can not imagine milk in green tea. Green tea is wonderful stuff, tastes good, makes your throat feel great, keeps you young and thin.

Well said Pete. I dont understand what is so bad about renting for the first few years of marriage. Chinese women are tough. :-) In the US it is expected that couples just starting out will rent.

Petes colorful comment refers to the fact that GB was born rich but thought he had earned it. Truth is he was just lucky.

hitting a triple means the ball was hit deep enough to allow you to make it all the way to third base.

baseball is still popular but I have never understood why. Bores the hell out of me.

Carolyn - I believe leng xiao means to sneer so its kind of like when we groan at a pun - not really funny.

Worse than folksy, over the top, trying to be cute, somebody jumped the shark translations (that I ignore anyway), is putting milk in tea. Did I hear that right?

@mickeytoons

Milk in tea? Oh, say it isnt so. Thats not tea then is it? No milk, no sugar. Tea is meant to be tea. With milk it just tastes like really bad coffee.

Sebire

I have a clear plastic one whith a screw lid and a screen. Something like the cab drivers use. They are very cheap, in fact I bought expensive tea once and they gave me two for free. I dont know what they are called but I couldnt do without it. I also have a standard tea cup with a lid and porcelein insert containing holes for brewing which is then removed, but I dont like this method. I want to keep the loose tea and add hot water a second and third time. Each watering tastes a little different and each has its own joys. I dont  mind the bugs since I am not a vegetarian. :-)

I bought the highest grade last time and Im not sure I like that one best.  I really need to do a side by side comparison. All the long jing is good though.

you're right. I said it wasnt funny, I didnt say it didnt work as a lesson. In fact, I will never forget the word for Peanut or the tones on flower or paint again. Actually whats funny about it, is that it isnt funny, if that makes any sense. Anyway its all good and all in good fun. Anyway, I was pretty sure it would qualify as funny in Oz :-)
