July 10, 2021 at 7:10 PMI am so fascinated to see the characters for water 水 (shuǐ) and ice 冰 (bīng). I only knew the character 水, but when I saw ice cream 冰淇淋 (bīngqílín) I immediately knew that the first character must mean frozen water. Incredible!
