We do use those other expressions too, but saying "washroom" is most commonly used - IMO.

Mathematically the correct answer should be: 七乘以九等于六十三

But if the the exercise is to write what the speaker says, then I suppose the correct answer is: 七乘以九等于六十三十六.

Isn't 本 the measure word for 书 (book)?

In that case we have:
一个本子  (one notebook)

一本书 (one book)

Right? (是吗 ?)

In the lesson, John & Dilu mention that the waitress is addressing one person. Then why is the plural of "you" used, "你们" instead of the singular "你" or "您"? It reminds me that in French, the plural "vous" can be used instead of "tu" as a form of respect. But in Chinese, "您" would be used instead of "你", isn't that right?

I wondered what the original Japanese pronounciation was; glad you added it. The choice of "ultra" and "man" now seem quite appropriate for the English transliteration.

It appears that the word for Ultraman in Chinese is made to sound like the English word used for a Japanese fictional character. Why is that so? Why not choose characters that make it sound like the Japanese word?

I remember watching Ultraman on TV as a kid. I was a huge fan. I mostly watched English TV programs (in Canada) as a child, but the Ultraman series played on a local French speaking station. It almost seemed normal to see the Japanese characters speak French. It was different than English but a language I could understand :)
