Yeah, it could be in the list as well.

我会努力的。 = I will try hard.

我会尽力的。 = I will try/do my best.

They kind of overlap in meaning a bit.

Ha ha, no, 看 needs to be the one at the end. It's an abstract 看.

Of course, you also don't hear 看看看.

Oh, man, that is hilarious! I got quite a laugh out of that, Tal. Thanks!

Bodawei,

OK, I see what you mean. Yes, that's one of the most confusing aspects of the current dashboard. It's slated for improvement. The source of the problem is that lessons only have one "state." This type of one-dimensional classification scheme isn't complex enough to handle the reality of lesson management. So we're going to fix this issue by first separating "source" (bookmarked / subscribed / assigned by teacher) from "status" (active / studied / neither).

This is the kind of specific technical detail we purposely avoided in this podcast because we know it's going to be changing fairly soon. (Again, see Catherine's log post for more info on that.)

Perhaps it should... But then again, it's an archive, and if you look at total lessons hosted, Ken is still way ahead of me for the Elementary level.

RCK,

Your understanding is correct. In the first example, the entire thing is just a noun phrase: [what kind of cell phone] + 的 + 手机. In the second example, it's a typical sentence structure: [Subject] + [Verb] + [Object].

Normally 顾客 is customer (like in a store), whereas 客户 is client (like of a consultancy, or agency, or whatever).

I wouldn't say it's a "permanent change"... Liliana is back next week, but you'll hear Jen on Qing Wen again.

Qing Wen has always had something of a rotating host lineup. Connie is the rock.

We will keep these podcasts up to date.

I'm not sure I understand your question... Bookmarking lessons adds them to your lesson list, as well as to your feed. Subscribing to lessons does the same.

The other issues you mention are covered in Catherine's latest blog post on lesson management. I understand what you're saying, though. If you're trying to keep track of a lot of lessons, it can get messy.
