December 30, 2010 at 8:20 PMI had a bizarre conversation with a taxi driver recently where he told me that he thought Obama was really a good looking guy. He explained that the PRC has never had a good-looking leader (Zhou Enlai is universally regarded as good-looking, but was not really a leader), and went through the list one by one, explaining why each Chinese leader wasn't good-looking.
Bizarre.
