Thanks for the lesson. I wasn't aware of the comparative use of 没 before. I have tried to make a few example sentences:

你的车没我的快

英国的天气没西班牙的热

这本书没那本有意思

就 was used in a couple of the example sentences. Can you confirm I understand the usage of this correctly please? e.g. 我在面包店， 买了面包就回家。Is this use of jiu here to show that once the first action is completed (buying bread) your next action will be to return home - the 'then' in the English sentence?

If you used the yi....jiu structure instead

e.g. 我在面包店。我一买面包，就回家。

I am at the bakery. As soon as I buy bread, I will return home.

So would you use this structure instead of le if you wanted to emphasise the sequence of events more?

Would this be the correct way to say: 'As soon as I start work I feel stressed out'?

I know that this was discussed a good while ago, but I don't see anyone replied to your query. As far as I know 再is used for something happening in the future and 又 is used for something that happened in the past. eg: 她昨天又迟到了。(She was late again yesterday) 明天你不要再迟到了。(Please do not be late again tomorrow)

Also, how would you say: 'I would die for you'? Does this use 为？我为你死 - doesn't sound quite right to me though.

Would this be correct to say: 他已经为我点我的菜。(She already ordered my food for me) Sometimes my friend goes to lunch before me and orders my food and I have difficulty explaining that she ordered on my behalf :s

Thanks Cpod! Usually I have a few phrases that seem to crop up a lot when I'm listening to my Chinese co-teachers talk at school that I am itching to know what they mean and you just solved the mystery for me regarding 受不了! Hmm...I think they may have been referring to our principal... :p
