Hi Folks! I had to change the format from the last version, as it wouldn’t let me post the transcript lists as comments (too long) so they’re all in the main post. On reflection, this way might actually be better as I should be able to add future transcripts to the list simply by editing the original post. Hope it’s useful...
chris
the challenge is that we are not doing the transcripts in chronological order and the cpod commenting system won't sort them automatically - so i suspect you're right mate, in that from time to time you'll have to edit your original post at the top to insert the new transcripts into the appropriate place!
toianw
Yeah. In my master copy, I've put all the transcripts in a table format now, so it should be relatively painless. I can just add the new stuff to the bottom of each table and use the sort function to sort by lesson ID - Then just copy and paste the whole thing back over to the post. I'll try to keep it updated "from time to time" :)

哇!了不起! 你总是真厉害朋友。多谢 :)

谢谢朋友。好久不见啊!我估计你最近几个月,忙着学斯瓦希里语或者巴布亚新几内亚的一些方言。我猜对了没有啊?
bababardwan

To keep this page tidy, could we all post new transcripts in the format I have in the Intermediate lesson 'Protect Your Screen' further up this page. That is, could we avoid big long lines of link text, and provide the blue links themselves.
As the link icon only appears in the 'Join the Discussion' box at the bottom of the page, here is the recipe (assuming you don't know HTML codes yourself). At least this is what I do.
1. Type your info where you want it to go (eg. under Intermediate) so that you can copy the format of the post above it.
2. Cut and paste everything you've typed into the 'Join the Discussion' box at the bottom of the page.
3. Link the lesson and transcript pages to your text using the chain icon.
4. Add the comment.
5. Edit the comment and copy its entire contents, including the HTML codes which have appeared.
6. Delete the comment.
7. Paste the entire comment back where you want it to go. For some reason, carriage returns are lost, so you will need to hit Enter right after each occurrence of "< br >". Then hit Reply.
toianw
You can also produce the links by copying and pasting the following two lines into the message:
<a href="http://LESSON URL">Lesson</a>
<a href="http://TRANSCRIPT URL">Transcript</a>
You just need to replace the http://LESSON URL part with the actual address of the lesson (and of course the same for the transcript link).
When you hit reply, the codes will be published as links.
chris
Great to see the transcripts group so active at the moment. I think more people have been participating it in the last month than in the entire last 3-4 years! Good stuff.
