opposite, to be opposite (adj.)
反而
fǎn ér
instead, on the contrary (adv.)
你走了相反的方向。
nǐ zǒu le xiāngfǎn de fāngxiàng 。
You went in the wrong direction.
他们是双胞胎，但是性格完全相反。
tāmen shì shuāngbāotāi ，dànshì xìnggé wánquán xiāngfǎn 。
They are twins, but their personalities are completely opposite.
