dànshì Zhōngguórén shuō “liǎng ”de shíhou ，jīngcháng shì yuēshù 。
However, when Chinese people say “liǎng”, it's often an approximate number.
我们在美国的办公室出了问题，你们去两个人看看。
wǒmen zài Měiguó de bàngōngshì chū le wèntí ，nǐmen qù liǎng ge rén kàn kan 。
We come upon a problem in the American office. A couple of you go check it out.
我过两天要去韩国。
wǒ guò liǎng tiān yào qù Hánguó 。
I'm going to Korea in a couple of days.
明天我们有一个聚会，你去买两瓶啤酒。
míngtiān wǒmen yǒu yī gè jùhuì ，nǐ qù mǎi liǎng píng píjiǔ 。
We have a meeting tomorrow. Go buy a couple of beers.
