女娲的儿女们在大地上幸福美满地生活着。可是，“天有不测风云”。有一年，水神和火神打起了仗来。
Nǚwā de érnǚmen zài dàdìshang xìngfú měimǎn de shēnghuó zhe 。kěshì ，“tiānyǒubùcè fēngyún ”。yǒu yī nián ，shuǐshén hé huǒshén dǎ qǐ le zhàng lái 。
Nu Wa's children lived happily and contentedly on the earth. However, unexpected events can occur at any time. One year, the god of water and god of fire began to battle.
最后水神被火神打败了。他气得用头去撞西方的一座用来支撑天地的山。
zuìhòu shuǐshén bèi huǒshén dǎbài le 。tā qì de yòng tóu qù zhuàng xīfāng de yī zuò yònglái zhīchēng tiāndì de shān 。
In the end, the god of water was defeated by the god of fire. He angrily slammed his head into the western mountain supporting the heaven and earth.
结果这座撑天的山就被撞塌了，半边天也塌了下来。天上出现了一个巨大的窟窿，大地也被震得四分五裂。
jiéguǒ zhè zuò chēng tiān de shān jiù bèi zhuàng tā le ，bànbiāntiān yě tā le xiàlai 。tiānshàng chūxiàn le yī gè jùdà de kūlong ，dàdì yě bèi zhèn de sìfēnwǔliè 。
As a result, this mountain which held up Heaven was toppled as well as half of the sky. A massive hole was left in the sky and the earth was shaken and split to pieces.
裂口中喷出的火焰燃烧着人们的房屋和农作物。地下水也从缝隙中喷涌而出，淹没了大地。虎狼猛兽也跑下山来吞食人类。
lièkǒu zhōng pēn chū de huǒyàn ránshāo zhe rénmen de fángwū hé nóngzuòwù 。dìxiàshuǐ yě cóng fèngxì zhōng pēnyǒng érchū ，yānmò le dàdì 。hǔ láng měngshòu yě pǎo xià shān lái tūnshí rénlèi 。
The fire that rushed out of the gap burned the peoples' houses and crops. Water gushed from the cavity and flooded the earth. Tigers, wolves and beasts rushed down the mountain to devour the humans.
