有一段时间了。据说美国橄榄球大联盟做了一连串造势活动，什么电视转播、中文官网，还让一些球星说简单的中文跟球迷套近乎呢。

It's been going on for a while now. I heard that the NFL did a series to promote it, with TV broadcasts, an official Chinese website, and even had some stars speak a bit of simple Chinese to kiss up to the fans.
肯定是看到NBA在中国做得那么好，所以也不甘示弱，来中国分一杯羹了。不过这项运动好像不太国际化，只有美国人看得津津有味。说实话，我是一点也看不懂。

They must have seen how well the NBA was doing here, and didn't want to be left behind. They came to China to get a piece of the action. But this sport doesn't seem very international. Only Americans really enjoy watching it. To tell you the truth, I don't understand it at all.
其实说到规则和技战术方面的东西我也不太懂，就是觉得挺好玩的。球员个个全副武装，实打实地冲撞，教练的排兵布阵也很有看头。

Actually, when you start talking about the rules and strategies, I don't really understand it， either. But I think it's really fun. The athletes are all dressed up in their uniforms, crashing together. And the coaches are worth watching as they line up their ''troops."
