Shànghǎi wúyí shì Zhōngguó zuì dà de chéngshì 。ránér ，Shànghǎi suīrán dà ，què bù cū 。
There's no doubt that Shanghai is the biggest city in China. But even though it's big, it's not crude.
在上海，无论你是站在摩天大楼下，还是走在里弄中，都不会有“粗”的感觉。
zài Shànghǎi ，wúlùn nǐ shì zhàn zài mótiāndàlóu xià ，hái shì zǒu zài lǐlòng zhōng ，dōu bùhuì yǒu “cū ”de gǎnjué 。
In Shanghai, no matter whether you're standing under a skyscraper or walking through a narrow lane, you'll never feel that the place is ``crude."

yīnwèi Shànghǎi shì ànzhào gōngyè wénmíng zuì yǎzhì shídài de lǐxiǎng móshì dǎzào chūlái de 。suǒyǐ Shànghǎi shì Zhōngguó zuì yǎzhì de chéngshì 。
That's because Shanghai was built on the ideals of the most elegant era of industrial civilization. So, Shanghai is the most refined city in China.

Don't go thinking that this elegance is just for the ``bourgeoisie." It's also a way of life for the girls who live in the lanes and sleep on tiny, immaculate little wooden beds in the garrets.
