Agh, we're not as lucky as the peasants! Maintaining a plot of land yourself is so much more carefree and comfortable than life in the city. You can breathe fresh air and look at the beautiful golden canolas for free! There aren't many cars on the road and bright green fields on either side. It's really pleasant to imagine. You can build a small house for yourself, plus a big courtyard. It's even more lovely than a villa!

That's wishful thinking! Is it because you've been on a few "Happy Peasant Household" tours that you think all peasant life is so carefree and relaxing? The typical peasant is resigned to his plot of land and toils over it with his back to the sky. While you're eating ice cream with the air conditioning on, they're weeding and spreading fertilizer under the hot sun!
