In English, at least in Canada, "The bus is here" or "Here's the bus." can also mean "The bus is coming." in the sense that it will arrive soon, often because you see it in the distance.

Jenny starts out by explaining that one shouldn't say 对不起 for "sorry to hear that" when Connie came to work ill. But I still don't know how to handle some of these situations. I have searched here for a couple of hours to no avail.
A friend writes "已经看医生回来了，身体很不舒服，特别心脏。我想我不得不取消明天的MEETING了，因为明天我要到医院做几个化验。我想我们不得不下周二开始我们的MEETING了。真是事情太多了，好事多磨。我得躺一会，难受的很。那下周见吧。"
