I love these mind map lessons. They make a lot of sense to me. Thanks for this series CPOD! :-)

Agree with other positive feedback. Fun lesson! The balance of clear videos, strong presenters, graphics that "pop" visually, and some pronunciation tonal practice is close to ideal for me. Mind mapping concept definitely helps me build vocabulary. Found another source and am sharing it here: Murali Xin Mind Map Link

This is probably one of the most complex CPOD Newbie lessons I've found so far!! Lot's of multiple word new vocab and no Grammar section to backstop the content.

Are they strict geographical markers or would saying 星期一 in Mainland China get me a blank stare?

Who cares about the audio and stuff when you have a great word/idea/concept like 天时地利人和 as a centerpiece?

Not me! I love this big, clunky, Chinese culture paradigm buster.

天时地利人和

tiānshídìlìrénhé

the time is right, geographical and social conditions are favorable (idiom)

Are there others out there like 天时地利人和?

Fun and interesting and useful lesson. I don't have any excuse for not counting in Mandarin at the gym anymore. The hand thing is cool.  Xie  xie nimen!

The "Grammar" tab:

(machine translation, not mine) 哪里(nǎli) 用法分初级和中级。 Usage is divided into primary and intermediate. 初级的用法分两种。 There are two types of primary usage. 一种是问处所,一种是客气的回答。 One is to ask the place, the other is a polite answer.

Super fun lesson. It is nice to laugh and learn I think. This is very useful vocabulary.
