I want to become a party member, but the lesson does not give inforrmation how a foreigner like myself can become one.

Can someone at CPOD send me the application form?

Thanks!

There are some inconsistencies in the Expansion Sentences.

For example, the passive marker: 成 (bei) is not included in two of the example sentences. I believe that 把 (ba) is substituted.

The measure word for "ticket" is 张.

I notice in the lesson expansion sentences that 个 is also used.

Is this a case where the measure word rule isn't as strict?

Yes. I find it challenging enough learning Chinese, but this really adds some complexity to my studies.

If you said "你有球" in China, would that have the same symbolic meaning as in English, or would Chinese people just laugh ?

"Fen" = divide or part

"Shou" = hands

And so, to "part hands" makes perfect sense, when describing a break-up.

Can you combine patient / impatient to form a new word ?  For example:

nàixīnnàifán  耐心不耐烦

Today's QW lessons are just as good, if not better, than when the series first was introduced.

Some people will complain about anything. How do you say "Get a life" in Chinese ?
