June 14, 2014, 03:49 PMI have to say I agree with you Mike, I remember back in the good old days when there was a lot more chinese spoken in the intermediate lessons, i.e. when the Chinese person spoke only chinese, all this saying "他很 busy" does no one any good...

February 24, 2012, 09:41 AMI completely agree with you lamartiniere, because Dilu does this a lot and doesn't repeat the same phrase in chinese, slightly annoying.
Although obviously upper intermediate / advanced lessons use mostly chinese, I feel that at the intermediate level the chinese speaker in the podcast should ONLY use chinese, and John should be the one to clarify any complex words in chinese.
If the chinese speaker in the intermediate podcasts is still mixing in English at the intermediate level we´ll never be able to make the jump to upper intermediate....

September 26, 2011, 09:21 AMMaybe this is all done on purpose so that we can all take a moment to think about what it's like for people that don't know a word of English : P
Although it is exciting that there might be a Korean pod - although to tell you the truth I would be more interest in Japanesepod.....

September 16, 2011, 07:32 AMWhy do all Chinese websites look so busy and confusing? I feel like western websites are visually much cleaner, but who knows maybe is this just because I can't quickly skim the Chinese on the webpage....
