For me, Qing Wen is the heart of ChinesePod. Bravo and many thanks for all the previous lessons.

I am in agreement that QW should concentrate on nuance of language and grammar, despite my longing to pursue the suggestion of illuminating the allusions and metaphors in Chinese classics and the subtleties of personal character assessments. The suggestion to follow the latter in Beijing Standard Time is hard for me, because my Chinese skills are not yet up to grasping a lot of the discussion there. And, there is no transcript. Qing Wen transcript is a huge entry point for me. Maybe a new channel for this? It's a fabulous idea, please don't lose it!

Did not know you were having a drought of QW suggestions and Q's. Will work on contributing more often.

Thanks for listening regarding Qing Wen schedule. Thanks to all those offering their study methods, especially dulei.

I am struggling to find a way to practice in the midst of too-busy life, and will first try the mp3 shadowing suggestions. I can attest that once I fall behind in practice, it's like having to start over again. I want to put in a special appreciation for the Skritter tool, which has been extremely helpful to me--I need Visual, Auditory Kinesthetic channels to all be engaged in order to learn effectively. One way to make it more effective is if I could customize my own week's vocabulary for learning and review. Does anyone know of a writing program that does this? Or can tell me how to use Skritter to do this?

I hope that when my guided subscription expires (in Sept.), I can catch up with some of these new promotions. ChinesePod is changing and improving so fast! Bravo!

Functions I miss so far:

  •    dictionary/glossary
  • ability to locate a lesson by date and/or number
  • ability to locate all lessons using certain subject or vocabulary

These may be there and I need help finding them...or need to use a PC instead of a Mac computer? Advice gratefully accepted.
