Cantonese usage of hanzi, migrated into Mandarin

瑞士 in cantonese is seoisi (Souisse)

瑞典 seoidin (Sweden, more likely Suede)

Guangdong was the area of China most open to trade with the West for a long time, I guess. Many of the proper nouns also go the other way, and have messed up pronunciation in Cantonese because they are based on Mandarin sounds.

Another interesting one (perhaps going the oppsite direction)

日本 jat bun (Ja pon)
