Being Brazilian, I was really impressed by the North-Koreans bravery, specially that bald guy who, in a very Churchillian way, gave blood, sweat tears for his team (in reverse order, actually). It was impressive and definitely unexpected and it served good for our midia-pampered multimillionaires lads.

Comme on folks!

Due to the one-child policy, hardly noone in China has a brother. Consequently there are extremely few uncles and aunts. So what's the point of a name for the mother's younger sister husband?

I wasn't to say anything because Jenny is such a super teacher, but from the little Spanish I know I've learned that "mucho gracias" would translate as "very thanks" (if such thing would make sense). Try "muchas gracias" for "many thanks". Other than that, keep ¡"arribaing"!

And may I suggest you guys go a little south, to 里约 (Rio)?

在巴西青菜就是常见, 我认为葡萄牙人从澳门带来了.另一方面,他们从巴西拿内龙眼,菠萝,腰果等等。

在中国我吃了"taro"冰淇淋,这就是什么?

Is it just me or when the partier guy says "làzhú" the "là" sounds as first-tone "la"?

I admit I don't have much other to worry about in life...

I've lost two credit cards in ATMs in China... But apparently no one benefited from that, I would have lost a third one if not for the diligency of passers-by. Phone stolen in Buenos Aires, passport lost in Prague, innocence lost in Rio... Ah, sweet memories.

I realize this comment is of no use to learning Chinese, but this lesson made me go adrift on memory lane...

I want some of that marijuana flowers.

I've tasted that burger in Xi An, but I much prefer 泡馍 (paomo, crusted pita bread over a lamb stew).

My least favourite 小吃: cocoon on a stick. Scorpions are fine.

Always the last to say something, but here it goes:

1.Nouvelle Vague is great bossanovaing brit-80s-hits. But it's difficult to pay attention to cucumbers while making plans for Nigel. Go for something instrumental. Or some "Chinese street generic white noise".

2.Cucumbers are not yellow, but them "eggplant" is not white (it used to be) neither is the "pomodoro" ("golden apple") gilded (but it used to be 黄色的).

Some not-正宗 Chinese restaurants in Brazil carry the 幸运饼干,and on the verse they always print lottery numbers suggestions. Sometime ago there a mess about some lottery seeming to be frauded because they had like a hundred winners and all in the same state. Turns out the 饼干 factory got stucked and printed the same numbers in thousands of cookies.
