November 22, 2007 at 3:45 PMHmmm...seems like Jenny didn't really want to expound on why Chinese don't really like turkey. Though she said it was bland, I don't think that's the only reason why. I have some chinese friends here in the states that said they don't like turkey because everytime they ate turkey it made them 放屁 (fang4pi4). Anyone else here this??? P.S. I'm not joking either...

November 22, 2007 at 3:25 PMloved it. Now can you please(drawn out for about ten seconds) build a vocab set using frequently used vocab on chinese menu's on a variety of dishes? I find it sooooo difficult to read anything on those menus. I normally result to *pointing* at other people's dishes in the restaurant. Love your teaching style, keep it up

June 30, 2007 at 11:55 AMI really think it would be kewl if you would then build on these lessons, step by step. Like you said in the lesson, you had to cut some of the story short to make it simpler. I think you should do another lesson that used more of the story and build and build and build and....it'd be great to use this format for a lot of other subjects where you can't get the whole scenario in. Just my thoughts anyway
