All true empires of the past used stone age measurements. Today's is no different. Stone age is superior. You boil your water at 212 degrees not just 100 The mile is much bigger than the Km. And who wants a litre if you can have a gallon! Oddly enough there are 100 cents in the dollar. Perhaps it was easier for the emperors to count their money on their fingers. Being so isolated they never heard of the abacus. Ah well...

Changye, Re-writing the Chinese of your first sentence into PinYin it becomes: I had a number of nude pengyou in my school days..... Mmmmm, interesting !!

Shen1cai2 does not impress me one bit; I much prefer shu1cai4.

Jenny, when you took that photo of Ken, did you deliberately leave his face out of the picture? Sorry Ken, maybe it was John.

Feilipu, no I never stayed in one of those 'economy' dives and I am not likely to do so in the future. Sogga you've got it all wrong dear, but it is sweet to blow off some steam about these mysoginistic men.

Hey Feilipu, you blokes must have something I haven't got. I have been in many hotels in China (on tours) but never had the excitement of being contacted by a xiao jie. Guess I must have an efficient guardian angel!

Young men can spit much further than old men, so watch out for them! I thought that the spitting habit in China was diminishing lately.

hi jonnysatan, Ik zei "de meeste Cpoddies", niet "alle Cpoddies" Toch wel aardig dat onze landgenoten een kleine vertegenwoordiging hebben in Cpod.
