January 02, 2011, 01:02 PMIn "一块钱里有几个一角钱？", I can’t see why there is an yī after ge, unless it is to show the ‘one-ness’ of the coin. If so, could one say
一块钱里有几个五分钱？
yī kuài qián lǐ yǒu jǐ ge wǔ fēn qián?

April 09, 2010, 06:39 PMAccording to Qing Wen 98, 热 (rè) = hot and 烫 (tàng) = scalding/ to scald; and the equivalent for 冷 (lěng) = cold is 冰 (bīng) = ice/ icy.
凉 (liáng) means cool.
