Was it scripted by John? - It almost seemed like it was John speaking through a voice-synthesiser. That's not a negative of course, and perhaps you will start to show a bit more of yourself as you begin to feel more comfortable with the job.

Perhaps my asking for a native Chinese speaker was being racist? Perhaps Chinese Pod is being sexist for never choosing a male native speaker for the lowest 4 levels. Where does this sort of ridiculous assessment stop?

I also find it interesting that you confuse acceptance of reality with ignorance. I would think the desire for a Utopia where everyone conforms to convention is the epitome of ignorance.
