Maybe in Shanghai they don't pay attention to fights/arguments much but in the more rural areas they sure do:)  It seems that whenever there's a commotion, then everyone will gather 'round to watch.  It's MMA for free!!!  Only in China...

Did I mention that I would pay extra for this?  Since your change over to paid subscribers for the stated purpose of giving us better material, then I would love to see that put into pdf's.  This is so basic I don't think I should even be having to post this idea.  I think a lot of people would benefit from it almost or as much as the lesson itself...Am I babbling?  Ok i'll shut up never to post this again since i'm sure c-pod has read this and is now officially ignoring me.  *whimpering in the background*

Maybe everyone else is so advanced they already understand everything that is being said.  Maybe I am stupid and dull of hearing,  I cannot easily figure out what is being said in-between dialogue.  Even If I do finally figure out all the words and look them up(which rarely happens), I still don't know the contextual meaning of them when put together. Am I asking too much to just have a simple pdf with the conversation that takes place between the dialogue and have it translated???

Anyhow great lesson guys, my mandarin has improved way more under your care than any other program i've used:)

Not to sound like a broken record...but,

Again, I would really really really really really really(ok, i'll stop) appreciate it if C-pod would post a basic pdf on the conversations taking place between the hosts of the podcast during the lesson.  I mean, a lot of times those  conversations are just as good for learning as the lesson content itself.  Do this for Intermedite up to Advanced

If no one likes this idea, i'll stop posting it:)

Another great extension to C-pod.  Keep it up.  I also learn much better this way.  Is anyone else having problems playing it in Windows Media Player?  I downloaded it and Media Player tells me, "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or a required codec might not be installed on your computer."  How do I fix this? I'm running Vista.

Honestly, i'm suprised it took soooo long for C-pod to start restricting all the great lessons they've made.  Obviously it costs money to run C-pod and free lessons for everyone would only keep more people from signing up.  I'm glad that you guys will be focusing on us paid subscribers!!!  Now for my suggestion on how to greatly help in me learning chinese and also others...  I'm at the Upper Elementary level and I really enjoy listening in on intermediate and upper intermediate but I miss out on all the conversation in-between the lesson dialogue.  So, can you plz post a simple pdf that would translate the conversation between John and Jenny.  I mean, there's been a lot of times where I try to listen and look up the words and I swear they don't exist in my dictionaries. This would greatly improve my ability to learn chinese....my 2 cents anyhow...

Keep up the great content guys.  Your really on to something here

I've been gone for a little while from c'pod and WOW!!! I missed the whole "Christian Agenda and 88groups" discussion. I really appreciate c-pod's response to allow the creativity of ALL people and to RESPECT other's off different beliefs.....ok with that said I would love(and I know a lot of others((I think))would love) to have a whole series across the spectrum on key words and phrases and ideas on the subjects of Evolution, Christianity, Buddhism, and maybe others that would hit the majority of students willing to study. Because I love to discuss these things and I would love to be able to discuss them in Chinese. I know this would be a lot of work but hey, i think it would be really really great....Thanks, Josh
