Well, personally speaking I do love Jesus, I am a Christian. I don’t attend church or rituals but I believe as Jesus said to worship in your heart, I believe in having conviction in something but I don’t push my religion on others, I do feel that it is sad that some people profess to be Christians and are only in name. Jesus said to love, simple as that, His only law is love, to love others and Him, and it isn’t love to push your religion or be condescending of others. I believe these forums are intended to discuss the language and culture of China, but I am compelled to say something to balance out some very strong opinions that have been expressed here.

Korea is a very intersesting country, I meet lots of Koreans here who are not only fluent in Chinese but English too. I think Seoul must be one of the most common stop overs when you're flying to China.

Tapioca is really useful, I was surprised at how many kinds you can find in China. (Good for thickening pie fillings too!) Oh Jenny, by the time you're done with all your creepy stories about 珍珠奶茶 the sellers will be out of business! I don't think I'll be able to drink that stuff without thinking of frog eggs! Ha

Many of the older people in Harbin speak Russian and call Russia 俄国 (Égúo), but the younger generation say 俄罗斯 (Élúosī) I think it is supposed to be phoenetically closer to Россия (Russia). Amber, can't 前 also mean ago, as in 天前?
